On November 16, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) once again issued a warning letter to a group of electronic cigarette companies, accusing them of selling 15 different electronic cigarette products without authorization. There are two e-cigarette companies from Shenzhen, China, one headquartered in Hong Kong, China, and one from Ontario, Canada.

These companies include:

Wizman Limited

Shenzhen Fumot Technology Co., Ltd.

Shenzhen Quawins Technology Co., Ltd.

Ruthless Vapor, etc.

The FDA said that these unauthorized products are packaged as toys, food or cartoon characters, which may tempt teenagers to use them. And these companies have not submitted pre marketing applications for these products.

In the warning letter issued by FDA, the unauthorized electronic cigarette product design described includes:

Electronic cigarettes are designed as toys and electronic products to attract young people, such as fluorescent sticks, Nintendo game boy and walkie talkies;

Electronic cigarettes are characterized by the characters that attract teenagers in TV programs, movies and video games, including "The Simpsons", "The Joker's Home", "Squid Game", "Rick and Morty", "Little Yellow People" and "Baby Buses";

The appearance of the product imitates food like popsicle.
